Today the Company employs nearly 2,100 team members in over 95 locations across the United States.Our purpose is to create a safe and reliable world and our mission is to deliver assurance through precise technical and professional services.DescriptionThe Compliance Manager leads the company's U.S. regulatory compliance programs, ensuring full adherence to key frameworks such as ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and FAR. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, embedding compliance into operations, systems, and contracting processes. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Compliance Manager partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to uphold compliance standards, mitigate risks, and drive a culture of regulatory excellence.This position will be based onsite either at our corporate office in Marietta, GA or Phoenix, AZ location.ResponsibilitiesAssess current operations to identify applicable federal regulations and update policies and procedures to ensure compliancePartner with Operations, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, and other functional teams to provide compliance guidanceAdvise Cyber Security team to ensure networks, data systems, and cybersecurity controls meet federal standards and certification requirementsMonitor, assess, and report on compliance risks; implement corrective actions as neededDevelop and deliver compliance training and communication to employees at all levels; track and monitor completionManage audits, assessments, and inquiries from government agencies or customers related to compliance or security mattersAdvise senior leadership and General Counsel on emerging regulations, industry best practices, and risk mitigation strategiesSupport internal investigations and incident response efforts involving compliance or security issuesQualificationsRequired Experience and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCEP) preferredMinimum 3 years serving as an ITAR Empowered Official or Corporate AdministratorMinimum 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs within a technical or regulated environmentStrong working knowledge of ITAR, DFARS, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirementsExperience coordinating compliance activities with IT, cybersecurity, and quality assurance functionsDemonstrated ability to design and implement compliance programs in complex, technical organizationsExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence organizational behaviorAdditional requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computerOccasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs)Strong confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive documents securelyClearance not required initially, but candidate must be eligible to obtain clearance if necessaryWork Conditions:Office-based in Marietta, GA or Phoenix, AZTravel: Rare, less than 20%, may be required depending on work location and project needsEOE/AA/M/F/Vet/DisabilityATS is an equal opportunity employer where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications without discrimination due to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.U.S. Persons Only: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR").
