Capitol Security Cadet - Peace Officer Candidate

The Iowa Department of Public Safety is seeking a Peace Officer Candidate to support security at the State Capitol Complex and Terrace Hill. Primary duties include building checks, operation of magnetometer equipment, and dispatch support to troopers. This temporary, non-sworn role requires a high school diploma or GED and participation in the DPS Academy process, with up to four attempts to become a certified Peace Officer.
