Job Overview The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full‑time Adult Psychiatrist to join its Adult Inpatient and Outpatient Divisions and a Psychiatrist to join its CPEP Division. The schedule is full‑time and includes evenings, weekends, and overnights with flexible shifts (8, 10, 12, or 16 hours). Outpatient psychiatrists may work two days a week remotely. Responsibilities Direct patient care to include evaluation, medication management, and coordination of care within the multidisciplinary treatment team. Strong interest in teaching. Qualifications MD/DO degree. Board certified/eligible in Psychiatry. Valid New York State license, DEA, and Medicaid number. Compensation Salary range: $261,000 – $281,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, and benefits).
