Overview The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with Queens Hospital Center, seeks a BC/BE Adult Psychiatrist to join its Adult Inpatient Division. The Psychiatry Department serves a culturally diverse population of adults, children and families. Responsibilities The physician will provide a full spectrum of inpatient psychiatric services and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Key service areas include: Adult Inpatient services – two units, 53 beds Mobile Crisis Team Adult Partial Hospitalization Program Ambulatory Adult programs Addiction Services and ACT teams Medium volume CPEP The department also collaborates with schools in psychology, nursing and medicine. A residency training program began in July 2025, and the psychiatrist will have the opportunity to teach residents during PGY‑1 and PGY‑2 years. Qualifications Current New York State medical license, Medicaid number and DEA number are required. Compensation Faculty appointment within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System. Salary range: $261,000 to $281,000 per year (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation or benefits).
