Slitting Operator

Job Description

Privately held Paragon Steel (Butler, IN) warehouses and slits steel coils and has an excellent opportunity in a fast-paced, family-oriented manufacturing environment, on First Shift as a Slitting Operator.

Details:

Run the Slitter 60"/70" and function as Lead Operator with a crew of five
Slitting Operator experience preferred
Responsible for daily calibration checks of equipment and taking measurements of finished product
Ensure that the crew members are working safely and effectively
Familiarized with Edge Master Software to develop set-ups
Work with production supervisor as needed
