Maintenance Technician Lead

Maintenance Technician Lead (Weekend Shift) needed at packaging solutions manufacturer in Middletown, OH! Hiring company is growing rapidly and invests candidates making their success a priority! Pay Range: $40/h + $2/h Shift Premium. Weekend Shift is Friday‑Saturday‑Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 12‑hour shifts. OT required as needed, based on production needs and support required. The Maintenance Technician Lead is responsible for repairing and maintaining production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment. This role supports operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and a safe working environment within a fast‑paced manufacturing setting. The candidates will also be responsible for mentoring others. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and building systems Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and conveyor systems Diagnose equipment issues by observation, testing, and sound analysis Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble machinery and components Inspect parts for defects, wear, and dimensional accuracy Adjust and align functional parts and control instruments Install new or upgraded mechanical and structural components Lubricate, clean, and service equipment to ensure optimal performance Start and test equipment to verify proper operation Operate maintenance tools and machinery safely and effectively Document maintenance work and track equipment history Identify and communicate future maintenance or equipment needs Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Maintain regular, reliable attendance and flexibility to work extended hours as needed Perform additional duties as assigned by management Act as mentor to other candidates in training Core Competencies & Values Team‑First Mindset Reliable, collaborative, and service‑oriented Willing to step in and assist wherever needed Clear communicator and active listener Brings energy and a strong work ethic Ownership & Accountability Takes responsibility for work and outcomes Proactively identifies improvements and solutions Handles conflict professionally and constructively Balances firmness with flexibility Holds self and others accountable Integrity Consistently does the right thing for customers and teammates Demonstrates strong ethical standards Follows established processes while helping build structure when needed Willing to train, mentor, and support others Excellence & Resilience Maintains focus and composure in unexpected situations Demonstrates urgency and follow‑through Ensures high‑quality completion of tasks Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with frequent changes Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch Ability to lift and move 10–100 lbs throughout shift Systems & Technology Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) ERP systems (e.g., HRMS, Amtech, Parabox, or similar) ADP Workforce Now Qualifications Required: Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred: High school diploma or GED Prior experience using ERP or maintenance tracking systems Trillium is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Trillium Staffing
