Your Daily Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, requesting necessary diagnostic tests, and creating custom care regimens
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health issues either independently or in collaboration with physicians
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and managing diseases
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-ups and chronic care management for patients
• Working together with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Accurately documenting all care within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a certified Nurse Practitioner training program

Licensing and Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
