Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - United States Field Workers

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for field-based sales in the United States. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, implementing marketing strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across a designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct educational programs, and achieve territory sales targets
• Develop and manage customer relationships, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze sales activities and territory performance, develop territory plans with District Manager
• Provide market feedback and partner with colleagues to share best practices and improve performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales
• 4-8 years of sales experience depending on educational background
• Preferred: pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry experience
• Preferred: specialty sales experience in oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, or related fields
• Preferred: Life Sciences or Business Administration degree
• Strong clinical and product knowledge communication abilities
• Territory relationship management and account development skills
