Bottling Technician I/II, BMIA

Job Summary Bottling Technicians for our BMIA group at BioLegend will be responsible for processing product formulations, filling, capping, labeling, completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI). The role is highly team-oriented, working closely with core teams within the BMIA Departments (LEGENDplex and ELISA) and other departments such as Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging, MCI, and Quality Control groups. Essential Functions Adhere to all BSL2 safety policies, correct procedures, dress code, and health/safety guidelines. Follow line clearance policies to avoid cross contamination, mix-ups, or incorrect items bottled. Perform kit assembly and pouching processes. Dispense antibody solutions and perform capping and labeling of vials, tubes, or bottles. Verify materials and documents to ensure accurate concentrations, lot numbers, etc. Perform basic math calculations. Put away finished goods in designated temperature conditions. Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel. Set up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations. Operate computer‑controlled process support/process equipment (e.g., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machines). Follow SOP instructions for job completion. Clean and maintain work area and lab equipment, adhering to 5S guidelines. Maintain accurate training records and ensure on‑time completion of training documents. Follow all GDP policies. Participate in other projects or responsibilities as required. Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience High school diploma/GED or some college. At least 6 months of experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling, bottling, or packaging environment. Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience At least 6 months of experience in a regulated manufacturing industry. Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products. Experience handling hazardous and/or biological materials. Work Environment & Physical Demands The position is performed primarily in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer and occasional exposure to a warehouse setting. Job duties require the use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and require reaching with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Compensation The anticipated hourly range for this role is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. The base pay offered will consider internal equity, work location, and additional factors such as experience and education.
