Executive Account Director, Business Development (Key Accounts, Bioanalytical Labs) -US -East Coast

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Executive Account Director to lead strategic business development for key bioanalytical laboratory accounts across the US East Coast. This role focuses on executing sales plans, expanding customer relationships, and achieving annual revenue targets through account management and cross-selling initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for assigned key accounts with year-over-year growth targets
• Create and maintain detailed account plans identifying expansion opportunities and cross-selling potential
• Build relationships with clinical teams and budget holders to establish preferred vendor status
• Lead RFP and proposal processes including bid defense and contract negotiations
• Organize quarterly strategic planning meetings with alliance partners to assess account health and resource needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal qualification
• 8+ years of relevant experience in account management or sales
• Consultative selling expertise in large enterprise accounts
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
• Advanced MS Office proficiency including Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
• Proven analytical, communication, and business acumen skills
