Sonja Cotton & Associates is pleased to partner with one of our favorite national law firm clients in the search for an exceptional litigation attorney to join its growing Product Liability and Complex Litigation practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented attorney who thrives on sophisticated litigation, enjoys writing persuasive legal briefs, and wants to work alongside a highly respected team handling nationally significant cases.

The Opportunity

Our client represents manufacturers, healthcare providers, and other leading companies in high-stakes litigation involving:

• Product Liability
• Complex Civil Litigation
• Class Actions
• Medical Malpractice
• Commercial Litigation

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an attorney who possesses:

• 3-5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Experience drafting persuasive motions, briefs, and pleadings
• Confidence taking and defending depositions
• Motion practice and courtroom experience
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Experience defending manufacturers, healthcare providers, or corporate clients in product liability or other complex litigation matters is highly preferred.

Applicants should be willing to travel several days each month for depositions, hearings, and trial work in other jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing
• Strong academic credentials
• Law Review or Law Journal experience is a plus, but exceptional writing ability is the priority
