Prep Cook
Malaparte is looking for a reliable and motivated Lead Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone organized, clean, consistent, and able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing produce and proteins
- Supporting the line cooks during service preparation
- Maintaining a clean and organized station
- Following food safety and sanitation standards
- Receiving and storing deliveries properly
- Helping with general kitchen prep and daily production
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred
- Ability to work cleanly, quickly, and consistently
- Basic knife skills
- Team-oriented attitude
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Compensation: $22$25/hour, based on experience Schedule: Full-time / Part-time available
