Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Arlington Heights, IL (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $19-$21/HR (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Role Overview:

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for multiple Customer Service Representatives for our client located near Arlington Heights, IL . Our client is a well-established logistics and transportation company experiencing significant growth through both expansion and acquisition.

As a result, they are looking to add 4-6 Customer Service Representatives to their growing team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization with long-term career growth potential. The ideal Customer Service Representative will be available to interview and start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and live chats regarding shipment status, delivery scheduling, claims, and customer inquiries.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional and timely support.
• Monitor shipment schedules, delivery appointments, and pickups while ensuring accurate updates.
• Resolve shipment issues by collaborating with customers, carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Handle customer disputes and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records by updating support tickets, shipment details, and customer information.
• Communicate proactively with internal teams and external partners to resolve service-related issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and internal systems to manage customer interactions and documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while managing a high volume of inbound requests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
