Our client, a government agency, is seeking a Change Manager to lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives supporting enterprise technology and business transformation projects. Job Title: Change Manager Duration: 12 months (08/03/2026 – 08/02/2027) Pay Range: $60-65/hr on W2 Job Description Responsible for leading Organizational Change Management activities that support large-scale IT and business transformation initiatives. This role partners with project teams, business leaders, and stakeholders to drive adoption, readiness, and successful implementation of new systems, processes, policies, and organizational changes. The Change Manager will develop and execute change strategies, communication plans, stakeholder engagement initiatives, training programs, and readiness assessments while ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading change initiatives, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting enterprise-wide transformation efforts within structured project environments. Job Functions Develop and execute Organizational Change Management strategies and plans. Lead stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and change adoption activities. Conduct change impact analyses and organizational readiness assessments. Develop and coordinate training programs, materials, and end‑user support resources. Partner with project teams to align change management activities with project objectives. Facilitate workshops, meetings, presentations, and stakeholder discussions. Identify and mitigate change‑related risks and resistance. Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, and change‑related materials. Support governance activities, project reporting, and organizational readiness efforts. Measure and monitor change adoption and implementation effectiveness. Skills/Abilities Experience developing communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies. Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Experience conducting readiness assessments and change impact analyses. Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Experience creating process maps and documentation using Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools. Experience 5+ years of experience leading Organizational Change Management initiatives. Experience supporting process improvement, system implementation, policy changes, or organizational transformation projects. Experience developing communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and training programs. Experience managing cross‑functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups. Experience supporting PMO, governance, or enterprise transformation efforts. Education Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field. Active PMP certification is required. Prosci, CCMP, and/or ITIL certifications are highly preferred.
