About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for its Investment Operations team, with a focus on operational oversight and management of strategic insurance clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the successful onboarding of new and expanded client relationships, ensuring the smooth launch of new products and mandates. Daily management of investment portfolios to meet internal and external SLAs is a key aspect of the role, as is representing the client to various internal stakeholders. The role also involves running the period-end close process, collaborating with clients, internal stakeholders, and service providers, and working with the technology team to develop and streamline workflows. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of related experience, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry, including STAT accounting principles. Experience in managing teams across multiple global regions is preferred, as is experience with private credit, asset-based finance, and real estate investments. Proficiency in industry-specific software such as Clearwater, Aladdin, PAM, and Advent Geneva is also preferred. The role requires advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and the ability to serve as a senior-level escalation point for all matters within the client vertical. The candidate should be adept at monitoring the new product and deal pipelines and be capable of collaborating with clients to design and scope new reporting needs.
