Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a pivotal role supporting student growth as a part-time Resource Room Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school setting near Phoenix, AZ. As a Resource Room Special Education Teacher, you will work 20 hours per week, collaborating with colleagues and families to deliver individualized educational plans (IEPs) that help students thrive both academically and personally. Your expertise will ensure students get the support and advocacy they deserve in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current teaching license with Special Education certification
• Experience working with students in resource or special education settings, preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff and parents
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning styles and needs
• Up-to-date knowledge of ethical, legal, and educational standards in Special Education

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and interventions to small groups or individual students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with interdisciplinary teams
• Continually assess student progress and adapt strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and staff regarding student goals and achievements
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages independence and growth
