Clinical Team Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of the Team Supervisor is to oversee and facilitate the daily needs of the designated team(s).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides daily work direction to all designated team staff and troubleshoots as appropriateAssists with execution of EMR projects, solutions, and troubleshootingConducts LPN, CMA, and CNA annual performance reviewsEnsure Clinical Services policies & procedures are adhered to adequatelyManages employee timesheets and timecard approvalParticipates in interdepartmental meetings as appropriateMonitor & complete items in team pools/provider inboxesMonitor & assign daily tasks to team assistants to ensure accuracy and completionReview provider schedules daily, manage add on patients, & ensure teamworkAdminister intravenous fluids (IVs), place catheters, and assist with portsAssist with team hospital and ER patient transfersAssist with coordinating team referralsAssess and monitor acute patient needs & report to providerCollaborate with CSM regarding new policies & protocolsComplete staff counseling with CSMAssist CSM with quarterly recommendations and refill auditsPerform clinic procedures and additional duties as assignedSUPPLEMENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Remain punctual, reliable, and available for late coverage if applicableMaintain a positive and respectful attitude while supporting the clinic visionMaintain required RN or LPN licensureMaintain current BLS CPR certificationWork effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a neat and well-groomed professional appearanceInteract positively with all interdisciplinary team membersMaintain confidentiality of all information acquired through clinic employmentEstablish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, providers, internal personnel, and outside facilitiesFollow clinic emergency/safety protocols and attend mandatory meetingsAbide by clinic protocols, ergonomic recommendations, and OSHA standardsAdhere to the philosophy and provide comprehensive care according to a patient centered healthcare clinicWORKING CONDITIONS:Subject to interruptions, high volume telephone calls, and frequent problem solving activitiesSubject to hostile and emotionally upset patients, staff, or outside agenciesFlexibility in scheduling required to meet department needsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Abide by ergonomic recommendations of the positionMust possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetic devices that will enable these senses to function adequatelyStand or Sit for several hoursSubject to lifting and carrying supplies averaging 25 poundsRepetitive motions involving use of phone and keyboardSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:EDUCATION: Minimum: Licensed RN or LPN in WisconsinEXPERIENCE: Minimum: RN or LPN - Two or more years of healthcare experienceKNOWLEDGE:Ability to work independently with minimal instructionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood judgment skills and ability to prioritize tasksKnowledge of medical terminology and general nursing skillsKnowledge of PC, Windows, & Microsoft OfficeExhibit leadership and time management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
