Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one completed travel assignment for a role requiring Siemens MRI scanner proficiency.

Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARMRIT, ARRT MR, and ARRT R certifications preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Preferred experience in community hospital settings
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Preferred ability to start peripheral IVs
• Preferred experience with special imaging procedures including MIP and MPR reconstruction

Responsibilities

• Night shift position, 3x12 hours, Sunday through Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM
• Floating required between two facility locations overnight
• Uses Siemens MRI scanner equipment
• Preferred experience with Cerner charting system
• Performs MRI procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
• Preferred experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures across abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
• Work collaboratively with radiology and cardiology teams across multiple facility locations
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of assignment
• Accepts candidates within 60 miles at a local rate
