O/N Merchandising Lead

Position Summary Provide member service, assist with purchases, and promote company products and services at a Sam’s Club location in Katy, TX. What You’ll Do Assist members via in‑store support and self‑service technology guidance. Support management by supervising associate duties, providing coaching, and participating in hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Order, receive, and stock merchandise; maintain sales floor organization and accurate documentation. Ensure facility safety by conducting sweeps, following forklift and hazardous material procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions. Maintain merchandise presentation, process returns and claims, manage shrink, and secure high‑risk items. Monitor food and merchandise quality, enforce rotation, code dating, and sanitation standards. Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work assignments, and model adaptability to change. Oversee picking and staging of club pickup orders according to company policy. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to improve business performance. Promote compliance with company policies and ethical standards, using the Open Door Policy. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Six months of retail experience and six months of customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a team, including hiring, evaluation, mentoring, development, and workload management.
