You’ll play a key role in ensuring residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and serve meal trays according to dietary guidelinesAssist with meal service and food preparationClear trays and operate the dishwasherMonitor and record dishwasher temperature and sanitation levelsPrepare snacks and nourishmentsClean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipmentSweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areasStore food and supplies safely and properlyRemove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shiftFollow all food safety and infection control proceduresAssist the cook and dietary supervisor as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMust obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s CertificateExperience in a healthcare or food service setting preferredAbility to learn food service routines quicklyStrong teamwork and communication skillsReliable, detail-oriented, and organizedWhy Join Cherrydale Post Acute?At Cherrydale, you’re more than just an employee—you’re part of a team that values your work and invests in your future.
