Job Summary Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, accomplishes general radiographic procedures. Performs at a technical level requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis. Conducts tests on in‑patients and out‑patients. Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment. Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice. Demonstrates industry standards in radiation safety. Qualifications Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT). MRT State of Texas. ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification. NMTCB PET certification preferred. Current AHA or ARC BLS provider. Certification in an alternate modality required within 6 months of completion of a cross‑training program if currently participating in one.
