Material Coordinator

Description
SAIC is seeking a Material Coordinator for our Hanahan, SC location.
The Material Coordinator will:
Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings in accordance with the Facility Manager/Staff Engineer(s) priorities.
Review production schedules and confer with Facilities Staff to determine material requirements.
Arrange transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
Examine material(s) to verify type specified for current projects.
Compute amount of material(s) needed for specific job orders.
Compile reports of quantity and type of material(s) on hand and coordinate with Facility Staff for the repair and assembly/installation of facilities unique material.
Exercise care in the use of company equipment and tools.
Observe all safety programs and practices.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent and two (2) years of experience.
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools (Word, Outlook and Excel in particular).
Required Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Desirable:
CMPro experience
Forklift experience
