Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Alaska

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The clinician will perform various procedures, assist the cardiology team, and monitor patient status during interventions. The role requires active participation in patient education, ensuring safety protocols, and efficient workflow within the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Perform procedures such as diagnostic cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placements.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage sedation during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Assure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Alaska RN license (license must be in hand for auto offer).
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Experience with EP or interventional radiology is a plus.
