Cloud Systems Engineer

IT Cloud Systems EngineerInsight Global is seeking an IT Cloud Systems engineer to join the cloud team of a local financial institution. They will work hand in hand with the Cloud Architect to deploy resources in the cloud, manage those resources, and manage the security of the cloud. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing both physical and virtual server infrastructure while designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud-based solutions. The position works closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure systems meet business needs, resolve technical issues, and support efficient application performance. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining infrastructure using tools like Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines, monitoring system performance, implementing security controls, and handling ongoing maintenance and patching. The role also involves maintaining thorough documentation, collaborating with vendors, and staying current on emerging technologies.
