Cloud, Infrastructure, DevSecOps EngineerThe Cloud, Infrastructure, DevSecOps Engineer position will focus on all aspects of design, analysis, implementation and support of systems, software or other solutions pertaining to deploying capabilities to cloud systems.The candidate will work within a team of software and IT engineers to build high performance, cloud-based solutions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, Micro-Services.Support the architecture, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutionsWork closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levelsMust be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervisionReport status on tasks and assignmentsMust be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.Must be able to perform effectively as part of a project team.Experience with several of the following tools Gitlab, SonarQube, Nexus, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher, Openshift, K3S), Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP, and Terraform.Qualifications and Education RequirementsBA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required.5+ years of hands-on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources2+ years network and operating system experience2+ years' experience in container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, DockerExperience using a source code repository such as Git, BitBucket, Mercurial, or SubversionExperience using a defect management system such as Jira, Bugzilla or FogbugzExperience with Agile development methodologiesDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.Preferred SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell refined troubleshooting skills, ability to determine the root cause of a problem and identify and resolve systemic problems.Ability to perform technical briefings to various groups and engineersAbility to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.Experience using and deploying RDMS, NoSQL, or Graph databasesExperience managing/implementing server/clients with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Platforms and Federation Services (NetIQ, ADFS, Azure MFA, Keycloak, Red Hat SSO, Duo, SAML, etc.)Experience scaling applications based on user demand.Experience working with service-based architectures and Web APIsIAT Level 2 Certification (e.g. Security +)Experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, XSLT, and JSON.Experience working and deploying on DOD networks including NIPR, SIPR, and JWICSExperience with administration of CI/CD pipeline tools.Administration experience on Microsoft Enterprise CA – Cert Requests/Monitoring.Administration experience on Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).Familiarity with Information Assurance programs.Experience with writing Linux bash scriptsExperience with one or more of the following: Terraform, Cloud Formation, Microsoft BicepAny of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).CompTIA Cloud+Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect ExpertAmazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect — ProfessionalSecurity ResponsibilitiesMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
