Production Worker

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, food processing, or bakery environment preferred.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bakery production environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, production schedules, batch sheets, and standard operating procedures.Strong attention to detail when weighing, packaging, labeling, dating, and inspecting bakery products.Ability to identify and report quality issues, damaged products, incorrect weights, or other production concerns.Knowledge of or willingness to learn GMPs, food safety practices, sanitation standards, and 5S principles.Ability to safely operate production equipment and use basic tools after appropriate training.Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.Ability to lift and move raw materials, packaging, ingredients, and finished bakery products as required.Strong sense of personal responsibility, reliability, and teamwork.Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with leads, supervisors, and coworkers.Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift.Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when production needs require.Basic math skills, including the ability to measure weights and quantities accurately.Ability to consistently follow safety, quality, food safety, sanitation, and company policies.High school diploma or GED preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered.What Makes a Successful Production Worker?The ideal candidate is someone who shows up, pays attention, works safely, and takes pride in doing the job correctly.
