CIE USA-Century Plastics , a division of the global enterprise CIE Automotive, is seeking a talented Cost Estimator t o join our team. Reports to: Director of Sales Primary Purpose: Responsible for preparing quote submissions, on time, from an RFQ supplied by our customers. Supporting the engineering and manufacturing teams (internal & external) with program cost needs. Essential Functions: Prepare quotations for new business and/or to reflect on going program changes. Responsible for cost estimating product piece price changes related to engineering change requests Responsible for cost estimating new business RFQs assigned to you Responsible for creating, tracking and maintaining piece price gross margin reports Assist sales / PM teams with new model quotes / studies Provide support for the development and production and execution of company business plans. Support launch activities for new programs. Interface with customers when needed Schedule and conduct new RFQ kickoff meetings with internal team. Any Additional items assigned to you Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 5 Years or more of progressive responsible experience in cost estimating, finance, manufacturing analysis, engineering, program management or related analytical roles involving financial and operational decision-making. Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including injection molding, assembly, welding, foam, thermoforming, painting and automation. Good communication and organizational skills Proficient at Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project Ability to manage multiple RFQs, programs and deadlines simultaneously. #J-18808-Ljbffr CIE USA - Century Plastics LLC
