Position Title Nurse Practitioner Faculty Position Type Non‑Tenure Stream Position Summary The School of Nursing at UNC Greensboro seeks a dual‑certified Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult‑Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP). Dual certification is strongly preferred, but candidates holding either PMHNP or FNP/AGPCNP certification will also be considered. Candidates should have a master’s degree in nursing, an unencumbered RN license in North Carolina, a current NP certification, and clinical experience as FNP/AGPCNP and/or PMHNP. The role involves teaching, scholarship, and service aligned with the school’s mission and enriches academic careers. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and credentials. Minimum Qualifications Must hold a master’s degree in nursing. Must possess an unencumbered RN license in North Carolina and current NP certification prior to the employment date. Requires clinical experience as FNP/AGPCNP and/or PMHNP. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree preferred. Dual certified FNP/AGPCNP and PMHNP. Teaching experience.
