Restoration Foreman | Waterproofing & Building Repairs | $55/Hour

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Job Type: Full Time

Position Summary

A & Associates is seeking an experienced Restoration Foreman to lead building restoration, waterproofing, water intrusion, concrete repair, and property repair projects in Boca Raton.

This position is focused on existing structures that require investigation, repair, and restoration rather than new construction. The ideal candidate has strong experience identifying the source of building damage, determining what needs to be opened or removed to access the problem, coordinating the necessary repairs, and restoring affected areas to their proper condition.

Projects may involve parking garages, clubhouses, decks, concrete structures, walls, floors, foundations, drainage systems, plumbing related damage, and other areas experiencing leaks, deterioration, or structural and waterproofing issues.

The Restoration Foreman must be a hands on problem solver who can evaluate field conditions, identify the root cause of an issue, direct crews through repairs, coordinate with other trades when necessary, and ensure restoration work is completed safely and correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead crews performing restoration, waterproofing, concrete repair, demolition, and building repair work

• Investigate leaks, water intrusion, moisture damage, cracks, deterioration, and other building deficiencies

• Identify the source of damage rather than only repairing visible symptoms

• Determine what materials or finishes must be removed to properly access damaged areas

• Coordinate selective demolition and removal of tile, concrete, drywall, flooring, coatings, and other materials when necessary

• Identify damaged or leaking pipes, drains, joints, waterproofing systems, or other components contributing to property damage

• Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, engineers, subcontractors, and other skilled trades when specialized repairs are required

• Oversee repairs and restoration after the underlying problem has been corrected

• Supervise concrete restoration, patching, resurfacing, waterproofing, sealing, coating, and related repairs

• Perform and oversee crack repair, epoxy and polyurethane injection, joint repair, caulking, and sealant applications

• Diagnose waterproofing failures and determine appropriate repair methods

• Inspect parking garages, decks, foundations, walls, floors, roofs, and other building areas for signs of deterioration or water intrusion

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, repair details, and inspection reports

• Coordinate daily manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and work assignments

• Establish daily production goals and keep crews on schedule

• Inspect completed repairs for quality and proper workmanship

• Document existing conditions, repair progress, and completed work

• Communicate unexpected field conditions and recommended corrective actions to project management

• Maintain communication with property representatives, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades

• Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Restoration Experience Preferred

Candidates should have experience in several of the following areas:

• Structural concrete repair
• Deck and balcony restoration
• Foundation and below grade waterproofing
• Crack and joint repair
• Epoxy and polyurethane injection
• Expansion joint repair
• Sealants and caulking
• Tile and flooring removal for repair access
• Selective demolition
• Drainage investigation and repair
• Plumbing related water damage
• Masonry restoration
• Surface preparation and coatings
• Building envelope repairs
• Property damage restoration
• Waterproofing inspections
• Leak investigations and corrective repairs

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction, restoration, waterproofing, or building repair experience preferred

• Previous Foreman or crew leadership experience required

• Strong restoration and troubleshooting experience

• Ability to identify the root cause of leaks, moisture intrusion, deterioration, and building damage

• Experience working with existing structures and occupied properties strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of concrete, waterproofing, drainage, building materials, and repair methods

• Ability to determine when additional trades such as plumbing, electrical, or engineering support are required

• Ability to read plans, specifications, repair details, and inspection reports

• Strong field problem solving and decision making skills

• Ability to manage crews, subcontractors, materials, and daily production

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to document and communicate field conditions clearly

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

• Valid driver's license preferred

• Ability to perform physical field work and work outdoors as required
