• Shift: 12-Hour Days (8:00 AM 8:00 PM or 10:00 AM 10:00 PM)
• Hours/Week: 36-40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract, Temp to Perm options available
• Licenses/Certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CDN or CNN preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient dialysis experience required; first-time travelers must have 2 years of permanent RN experience in acute care
• Travel Requirements: Able to float between facilities; experience with hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis is preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $50.25/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide dialysis treatments to patients on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, ensuring safety and comfort
• Access fistulas and dialysis catheters, and monitor patient responses during procedures
• Work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Float between multiple facilities within the network, providing consistent quality care
• Follow protocols using Braun water machines and other dialysis equipment
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Participate in unit charge responsibilities and shift handoffs
• Maintain adherence to safety and compliance standards at all times
• Support patient education and engage in critical thinking during treatments

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum 1-year inpatient dialysis experience (2 years for first-time travelers)
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; CDN or CNN preferred
• Skilled in fistula access, catheter management, and dialysis procedures
• Ability to travel between facilities quickly and efficiently
• Strong critical thinking, independent work skills, and professional attitude
