Salesforce Administrator - Sales Data Analyst

We are working on behalf of a respected medical professional liability insurance carrier, serving healthcare professionals across 22 states. Headquartered in Glastonbury, CT, this organization is committed to protecting dedicated physicians and supporting the medical community through its mission-driven approach.

About the Role:

The Data Analyst is a key part of the Actuarial Department, focused on leveraging data to support reporting, analysis, and regulatory compliance efforts. The successful candidate will work on building advanced reporting tools, analyzing key business indicators, and managing statistical data submissions to state regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

Extract and analyze premium and claims data to deliver actionable insights
Integrate reporting processes for newly acquired entities and improve group-level reporting tools
Manage and ensure compliance with regulatory statistical reporting requirements
Support cross-departmental data analysis needs
Develop and maintain reports using Power BI Desktop and Web
Contribute to operational and process improvement projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience analyzing property and casualty insurance datasets
Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel and SQL, with experience using technical reporting tools
Knowledge of commercial insurance lines is required
