Regional Pricing Analyst - Ne
Develop and implement regional pricing strategies that lead to the measurable attainment of business goals and increase price maturity within the organization. Be a trusted business partner to the assigned Regional Vice President and support Sales, General Managers and Product Managers to implement pricing across multiple product lines and customers. Provide reporting and data to regional stakeholders to support pricing decisions. Position reports directly through Corporate Operations Pricing Manager. Pay: $80,000 per year annual salary
Essential duties and responsibilities include working with key stakeholders to understand the company's vision, mission, and strategy; supporting the company's margin and pricing strategic plans/profitability goals; establishing pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements; designing and performing timely price analyses; conducting pricing reviews for the business units served; understanding all pricing programs and ensuring accuracy and consistent application; implementing pricing strategies in customer deliverables and updating the system pricing in a timely fashion; troubleshooting pricing anomalies and inconsistencies; communicating with General Managers and Sales Managers; maintaining current knowledge of relevant pricing procedures and practices; managing and improving the catalog process by standardizing the processes and work files used to create and publish catalogs; and working in conjunction with IT to develop tools that improve the publishing of pricing information (catalogs) to customers.
Education and/or experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university with emphasis in management and analysis. Prefer experience with functions of INFOR. Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and a strong ability to utilize Excel (Advanced) and data base tools such as BRIO.
Communication, technical, and problem-solving skills: Must possess strong analytical and mathematical skills. Strong planning and organization skills. Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate clear communications of results within the sales organization. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to apply analytical rigor to understand complex business scenarios. Requires strong verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a consistent, efficient, and concise manner. Ability to draft and edit correspondence using proper language, spelling and grammar. Understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work environment: The general work environment is fast-paced, and at times can be demanding.
