Vendor Manager

Managing the end-to-end performance of a portfolio of operational vendors, the full-time remote Vendor Manager will oversee vendor relationships, drive accountability for service delivery, and resolve complex operational issues while mentoring less experienced colleagues. Key responsibilities: Own day-to-day management and performance oversight of assigned vendors, leading performance forums to diagnose issues and drive action plans Act as the escalation point for high-risk vendor issues, negotiating resolutions and building consensus among cross-functional stakeholders Lead quality management and process improvement initiatives, coaching vendors and colleagues on best practices and standards Required qualifications: 6+ years of experience in vendor management, claims adjusting, or outsourcing management Proven track record managing large-scale operational vendors with minimal oversight Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets, SQL, or BI tools Excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management skills with experience communicating with senior audiences Demonstrated expertise in quality management and process improvement methodologies
