Mechanical Construction Project Manager Charlotte, NC I’m partnered with a well-established mechanical contractor that is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects throughout the Charlotte market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background managing HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes on technically complex projects across a variety of high-profile sectors. Project Experience Preferred Advanced Manufacturing Healthcare Data Centers Higher Education & Education Life Sciences Government Facilities Entertainment & Large Commercial Facilities Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships. Coordinate HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes to ensure successful project execution. Lead project teams and collaborate closely with field operations, VDC, estimating, and executive leadership. Drive safety, quality, and profitability across multiple projects. Qualifications 8+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial mechanical construction projects. Strong background with HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems. Experience managing projects with mechanical values of $7M+. Proven ability to lead large, technically challenging projects from start to finish. Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
