AdventHealth will bring a 60-acre health and wellness campus to Lake Nona in late 2026. This location will offer medical innovations on a campus designed around whole person health with comprehensive services, destination lifestyle programs, and much more that will shape the next generation of health care.

• Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance.
• Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.
• Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision-making, problem-solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high-quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery.
• Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient-centered care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrates the ability to lead Performance Improvement initiatives on their assigned unit (Required)
• Demonstrates the ability to Think Critically and Utilize Technology in relation to the operations of the unit and delivery of patient care (Required)
• Demonstrates Leadership and Clinical Practice Knowledge (Required)
• Demonstrates good Communication and Relationship Building skills (Required)
• Acts as a role model for Professionalism on their assigned unit of employment (Required)
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff (Required)
• Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals (Required)
• Ability to include evidence-based practice standards for care delivery in their area of specialty (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
• Master's of Nursing (Preferred)

Work Experience:

• 2+ acute care clinical experience (Required)

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
• Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)

Pay Range: $85,529.67 $159,089.69
