Assist clients and families in management of crisis situations Prepare status reports for court as needed Advocate on behalf of child/youth and their family, identifying and building on their strengths, responding to their needs, understanding cultural issues, and identifying service gaps Coordinate activities and materials that support all aspects of development Work directly with parents and children to apply instructional strategies Provide transportation for children enrolled in programs Maintain confidentiality when interacting with clients, families, and providers Conform to all requirements of Medicaid Utilize work time appropriately to maximize productivity Perform other duties as assigned Education, Experience and Special Skills Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Education, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or in a related field Licensure required (BCBA, LICSW, LMHC, or LCSW) Child welfare experience preferred Knowledge of developmental disabilities, child development, family assessment, functional behavioral analysis, positive program development, and community resources Experience with negotiation, collaboration, problem solving, and decision making Maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization.
