Rare Disease Business Manager - HAE

Job Description Join us as a Regional Business Manager – HAE – Houston, TX. You will report to the Senior Regional Business Director, HAE. The Regional Business Manager will drive franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies, collaborating with the Regional Business Lead and various customer‑facing team members to ensure patients are supported through their HAE journey. The role also involves demand generation, educating HCPs on Takeda brands, managing day, evening, and weekend activities, collaborating with specialty pharmacies, adhering to policies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and embodying Takeda culture. Responsibilities Drive franchise sales growth; collaborate with the regional team to support patient care; generate demand; educate and inform HCPs; manage scheduling and travel requirements; coordinate with specialty pharmacies; ensure compliance with all policies; maintain high customer satisfaction; exhibit Takeda values and culture. Qualifications Clinical sales background with a Bachelor of Science degree (minimum). 5+ years of successful healthcare sales experience managing own business. Knowledge or experience in complex selling model is highly desirable. Biotech experience desirable. Results‑driven with a track record of results and compliance. Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of sales processes. Organizational and territory planning skills required. Effective at acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to create sales strategies. Change agility skills and experience required. Experience influencing HCPs to prescribe and launch a plus. Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Able to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends, and support conventions and meetings supporting Immunology. Must have authorization to drive a company‑leased or rental vehicle. Training Requirements Position contingent upon successfully passing mandatory product training, including written and oral examinations. External hire: during training period classified as non‑exempt and eligible for overtime under law but not eligible for sales incentive programs. Training period up to 8 hours per day and 40 hours total in a workweek. After successful training, employee transitions to exempt status, paid bi‑weekly, and becomes eligible for sales incentive programs. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage range: $67.31 – $92.55. Actual wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, licenses, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, short‑ and long‑term disability, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time, and up to 120 hours of paid vacation for new hires.
