Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An urgent opportunity is available for a Clinical IV Pharmacist to support patient care with expertise in home infusion and clinical pharmacy services. This role, based in Harrisburg, AR, offers a 3-6 month contract with potential for permanent placement.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Every 3rd weekend required
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an IV pharmacist
- Possess a current, clear Arkansas pharmacist license
- Successfully pass background check and drug screening
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to interpret lab results effectively
- Flexibility to assist in various clinical pharmacy tasks as needed
Responsibilities:
- Verify IV medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapy
- Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room under sterile conditions
- Perform a range of other clinical pharmacy duties to support patient care and pharmacy operations
