Senior iOS Software Engineer

Salary: $175,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 7+ years of iOS development experience.
• We are looking for strong Swift expertise, including the ability to work in mixed Swift and Objective-C codebases.
• You should have a solid grasp of application architecture and the reasoning behind architectural decisions.
• Experience with LLM coding assistants and familiarity with the current state of agentic development is required.
• You should have hands-on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• We expect experience with MVVM or comparable architectural approaches.
• Experience with reactive programming frameworks such as Combine, RxSwift, or ReactiveObjC is required.
• You should have experience with local persistence and caching strategies.
• We need experience writing unit tests and using mocks or test doubles.
• You should understand dependency injection and how to write testable code.
• Familiarity with modular architecture using Swift Package Manager is required.
• You should be comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience migrating legacy codebases, including Objective-C to Swift and UIKit to SwiftUI, is required.
• Preferred qualifications include e-commerce or consumer app experience.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Amplitude is a plus.
• Experience with A/B testing or feature flagging tools such as Optimizely or LaunchDarkly is desirable.
• Accessibility implementation experience, including VoiceOver and Dynamic Type, is a plus.
• Experience with native Android applications such as Kotlin or Kotlin Multiplatform is beneficial.

• We will rely on you to lead the full design and delivery of complex features from concept through implementation.
• You will maintain strong code quality through thorough code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to SOLID principles.
• You will diagnose and fix performance issues, memory leaks, and crashes to help maintain a 99.9% crash-free session rate.
• You will work with Product Managers to convert business goals into technical specifications and practical sprint plans.
• You will stay current with the Apple ecosystem, including WWDC announcements and Swift evolution, and apply relevant advancements to our work.
• You will contribute to team development by sharing expertise, documenting best practices, and taking part in architectural discussions.
• You will help create a highly personalized shopping experience that feels tailored to each member.
• You will support the migration of legacy UIKit components into a modular, reactive architecture with a Design System DSL.
• You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering in our Product Triad to solve the right problems for our members.
• You will help ensure our iOS experience is polished, accessible, and smooth, from animations to usability.
• You will participate in our transition from scrappy startup-style execution to mature, scalable engineering systems.
