This full-time day position involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies and patient needs.Key responsibilities include:Assessing patients and identifying individualized care requirements.Organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans effectively.Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.Serving as charge nurse when assigned, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills.Administering medications as prescribed and responding promptly to life-threatening situations.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and positive patient outcomes.Supporting patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.Participating actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.Requirements include:Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure.BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Effective organizational and leadership abilities.Understanding of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.This role is based in a regional healthcare setting serving the Southeastern United States, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment focused on patient-centered care and professional growth.
