Required Qualifications:

• Valid or eligible South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification: Multi-categorical (PK–Grade 12)
• Direct experience with creating, implementing, and tracking IEPs and related goals
• Availability for in-person work, following the academic year and daily school schedule
• Expertise or strong interest in serving self-contained classrooms, especially grades K–2 and 3–5

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction, adapting lessons and materials to support diverse learning styles and needs
• Collaborate closely with general education staff, administrators, and families to foster inclusive, goal-oriented environments
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
