Impact the lives of elementary-aged students as a dedicated Special Education Teacher in a full-time, onsite role for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting K–2 and 3–5 self-contained classrooms, delivering individualized instruction, and fostering positive learning environments for students with a range of exceptionalities.

Qualifications:

• State of South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification: Multi-categorical (PK–Grade 12), or eligibility to obtain
• Experience developing, implementing, and tracking IEP goals and accommodations
• Ability and commitment to work in person, onsite, following the school day and year calendar
• Skilled at collaborating with education professionals and families to support student success

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, tailored instruction to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Track student progress and adjust goals to meet evolving needs
• Communicate with guardians, service providers, and instructional staff to maximize student outcomes
• Manage classroom routines and behaviors with a supportive, positive approach
• Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings and professional development sessions

This position offers immediate start dates and a 37.5 hour, five-day work week aligned with the school calendar. Compensation is determined by experience and will be discussed ahead of your interview.
