Business Development Manager – Direct Sales The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving direct sales growth and market expansion for Redexim’s natural and synthetic turf maintenance equipment across Georgia, Alabama and Northern Florida. This role develops new business opportunities, strengthens end‑user relationships, supports existing accounts and serves as the primary sales contact within the territory. About Redexim For over 45 years, Redexim has been working behind the scenes of some of the world’s most iconic moments on grass. From Major League Baseball diamonds to football fields, golf courses, and community parks, our machines help keep playing surfaces in top condition. We design and build reliable turf maintenance equipment for professionals around the world, with a portfolio spanning seeding, topdressing, renovation and synthetic turf maintenance. By helping keep playing surfaces in top condition, we elevate sports fields and golf courses worldwide so athletes at every level can perform at their best. From our base in St. Louis, Missouri, Redexim North America supports distribution partners, golf courses, municipalities, sports facilities, and contractors across the region. With dealer coverage across Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, we combine local market knowledge with the strength of a global brand to support turf professionals across a large and diverse market. Key Job responsibilities Achieve territory sales, revenue and gross margin targets. Maintain and grow existing partnerships while recruiting and onboarding new customers. Generate new business through CRM lead management, prospecting, networking and product demonstrations. Build relationships with golf courses, sports field managers, contractors, municipalities, schools, universities and other turf maintenance customers. Collaborate with customers to increase sales through training, product line reviews/demonstrations, annual reviews and ongoing support. Develop and execute territory sales plans and provide regular reports to management. Support marketing initiatives by attending trade shows, industry events, customer demonstrations and association activities. Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, quotations, and sales‑related activities within the territory. Conduct market research and provide competitive and customer feedback to support business strategy. Utilize CRM and business systems to manage customer relationships and sales activities. Manage travel, expenses and territory operations efficiently while maintaining strong customer service and professionalism. Sales Target Achievement Achieve or exceed annual sales targets. Maintain and service current Redexim retail partners. Recruit and onboard new Redexim partners in alignment with annual sales targets. Drive growth by building relationships with target end‑users for Redexim products. Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold‑calling, networking and lead generation through CRM. Generate end‑user demand by conducting product demonstrations with key stakeholders such as golf courses superintendents, sports and field ground managers and contractors. Work actively with the right dealers/partners in the territory that provide access to the identified end users of our products. Develop partnerships with local associations related to turf maintenance products, government entities such as schools, universities, municipalities, parks departments and other self‑maintainer properties within the assigned territory. Identify and approach potential clients such as golf, soccer, football which have not engaged with Redexim previously and promote the Redexim brand and products. Be the main point of contact for area associations and activity engagement. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the assigned area of responsibility. Channel and Marketing Support: Support Redexim brand marketing initiatives. Attend national and regional company meetings as required. Participate actively in industry events and trade shows to promote Redexim products. Provide valuable channel feedback to Redexim regarding product performance, market acceptance of marketing initiatives, and competitive intelligence. Plan and execute customer engagement events such as road shows, open house demonstrations and niche product presentations. Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience of territory sales or business development, preferably in turf equipment. Proven success in achieving sales goals and developing new business. Strong communication, presentation, relationship‑building, negotiation and organizational skills. Ability to travel extensively (approximately 70%) and operate company vehicles, trailers and equipment. Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Expected to work in diverse office and professional environments, client locations and trade shows.
