Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid NC Speech-Language Pathology license required (ASHA CCCs or strong Clinical Fellows welcome)
• Prior school-based experience strongly preferred; familiarity with IEP processes and working with elementary-age students is a plus
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, progress monitoring, and case management for diverse speech and language needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
• Comfortable working onsite full time; remote or VOCO work is not available for this role
• Able to start promptly and commit through May 21, 2027

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students at the elementary level in compliance with IEP goals
• Conduct thorough assessments to establish baseline skills and develop data-driven intervention plans
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing input on speech/language goals and progress
• Collaborate with special educators, classroom teachers, and other related service providers to support student learning
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation for Medicaid billing and compliance purposes
• Consult with families and teachers to build strategies for supporting communication skills in all settings
