CT Technologist

Role Overview The CT Technologist delivers high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care at a hospital setting. They operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring diagnostic accuracy while maintaining safety protocols, infection control, and patient comfort. The role involves obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, administering contrast, positioning patients, reviewing images, and documenting studies accurately in RIS/PACS systems. Technologists collaborate with team members, support operational efficiency, and respond to emergencies. They also ensure equipment maintenance and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum 1 year of radiology experience Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association) Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures safely and accurately, adjusting techniques as needed Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout procedures Maintain equipment and environment per infection control standards Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET Review and finalize images, document procedures, and support department workflows Respond to emergencies, monitor patient condition, and support regulatory compliance Additional Benefits Competitive pay, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, full-time schedule, PTO, wellness programs, and educational opportunities through a career development program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
