Pay Range: From $16 - $19 , based on experience + tips Job Summary: As a Cook, you will be preparing food to our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. You will cook food to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard. Responsibilities:
- Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep
- Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing
- Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line
- Prepare quality food that meets our Buona standards
- Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
- Restock food line
- Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
- Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
- Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures
- Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru
- Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned
- Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent communication and positive attitude
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must obtain Food Handler certificate
- Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
