Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist \n Discipline: Allied Health Professional \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 8 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Ultrasound Tech – Quick Job Summary \n Experience: 3–5 years preferred; minimum 1 year required \n Certifications: BLS ARDMS/RDMS/RVT \n Registration: Must be registered \n Shift: 8-hour days \n Hours: 40 hrs/week \n Schedule: Details indicate weekday/weekend coverage depending on assignment \n Scrubs: Black \n Equipment: GE Logiq 10 Samsung RS 85 \n EMR/PACS: EPIC / Visage \n Locations: Hospital, Cornwall & Ashburn sites \n Studies: \n Abdominal, renal/bladder, thyroid, testicular \n Female pelvis & OB \n BPP, growth, Dopplers, twins \n DVT, carotid \n Pediatric studies \n Hernia/lumps & bumps \n OR-guided ultrasound procedures \n Volume: 10–16 studies per 12-hour shift \n Float: Weekend techs primarily work at the hospital and may cover Cornwall/Ashburn ERs \n Pediatric Experience: Highly desirable; training available \n Call: None specifically listed \n Holidays: None unless they fall on a scheduled shift \n Important: Must be able to perform most/all general ultrasound studies independently.
