Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst CGI is seeking a financial management/accounting specialist to support financial analysis and financial management activities at a Government Agency. Candidate will join a team that provides financial analysis and management support for a large federal agency. Responsibilities Process agency invoices and travel vouchers, and reconcile payments for the government agency Assist with tracking and monitoring payments, payment cancellations, undisbursed payments, and check re‑issuances Support access to agency and federal government financial information systems for accounting, billing, and investment purposes Review financial and accounting data to ensure compliance, support the annual audit, and prepare supporting documentation in the federal ERP system; create ad‑hoc reports as required Review tax accounting transactions and support their entry in the financial system Prepare financial and operational analyses to assist the federal agency in managing financial reports Record and reconcile payments made by other agencies as part of the outgoing orders process for traditional TBO, Intra‑governmental Payment and Collections (IPAC), and Inter‑fund payment types Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3 to 5 years of relevant experience performing financial, payroll, and/or accounting functions Experience in financial analysis, financial management, and financial reporting support at a large federal agency Experience using federal ERP systems (CGI Momentum strongly preferred) Comfortable presenting to client stakeholders Solid analytic thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools) Desired Qualifications (Non‑essential) Prior experience with Momentum Knowledge of SQL Compensation The range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 – $136,200.00.
