Farm MaintenanceFull Time – HourlyAt Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $22.00 - $30.75 per year/hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. Must be 18 years of age or older.Job ResponsibilitiesCandidate will be responsible for farm/barn maintenance.Must be able to do general troubleshooting, repairs, welding, and preventative maintenance for all area farms.Good mechanical aptitudeGood attendanceWork well with others or aloneWork overtime as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Background in repairing farm equipment, carpentry, and/or electrical work.Must have a valid driver's license.Above average reading and writing skillsAble to lift 50 lbs.Work in a cold, wet, humid, hot and/or dusty environmentWork with heights in confined spacesMust be able to pass a lung function test to be certified to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus or gas mask which requires no facial hair in areas where the face mask seals against the face.Competitive pay with pay increasesYou will be trained on all equipment and procedures to prepare you for your roleExtraordinary benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage.
