The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation, maintenance, and cleanup of job sites, assisting skilled tradespeople and following detailed instructions to meet project specifications. This role demands physical stamina and attention to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. The Laborer will be responsible for handling materials, operating basic tools, and performing manual tasks that facilitate smooth workflow and timely project completion. Ultimately, this position plays a key part in the overall success of construction or maintenance projects by providing essential support and ensuring operational continuity. The Laborer needs to be able to operate a forklift and work in a food recycling warehouse assisting the depack operator. The role requires a safety-minded individual able to follow general instructions. The employee must be able to work in all weather conditions and be subjected to odors associated with food waste recycling. Minimum Qualifications Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of workplace safety standards and willingness to adhere to them. Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related labor-intensive field. Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in construction or maintenance. Basic knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Possession of a valid driver’s license or forklift certification. Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on the job site. Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas. Support skilled tradespeople by preparing materials and tools as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site throughout the workday.
